MASTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION(BY COURSEWORK - 42 CREDITS)
The programme synergizes the expertise in political science and public administration of the faculty to develop an interdisciplinary approach in training students to address the challenges of governance, public administration and international relations in the national and regional context. The programme focuses on the fundamental principles, practices and techniques of organisational management related to public institutions. It expose students to relevant theories, and their applications in multidisciplinary fields. The emphasis is on linking theory to research, problem solving skills, as well as professional analysis of a wide range of issues in the areas of policy analysis, public sector management, urban planning design and urban development.
A Bachelor degree with a minimum of CGPA 3.0 or equivalent and sufficient knowledge in the field of public administration or any relevant areas.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
An International applicant who wishes to follow a Master of Public Administration Programme shall obtain at least the result below in one of the English Language competency examinations as stated below:
1. A minimum of overall IELTS (Academic) score of Band 6.0 with a score of 6.0 for each components (Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening)
2. A minimum score of 550 for the paper-based total (PBT), a score of 213 for the
computer-based total (CBT) or a score of 80 for the internet-based total (IBT) for the
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL);
3. Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic) with a minimum score of 51;
4. Minimum band 4 Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
