Prof. Zaharom Nain is a distinguished academic and former lecturer at the University of Nottingham Malaysia, renowned for his contributions to media studies, communications, and governance. His critical analyses and extensive research have explored the intersections of media, policy, and societal transformation, earning him recognition as a leading voice in these fields.

Prof. Zaharom’s scholarly works include incisive studies on media ownership, the political economy of communications, and the role of media in promoting democracy and accountability. His publications, such as contributions to The Routledge Handbook of Political Economy of Communication, have been widely cited and continue to shape academic and policy discussions.

In line with his sought-after expertise at the faculty's new Centre for Governance, Prof. Zaharom’s expertise is pivotal in addressing contemporary governance challenges, particularly through the lens of media’s influence on policy and public engagement.
