
Senior Economist
Ririn Salwa Purnamasari is currently leads the country work program on poverty and inequality in Malaysia. Previously, she led the World Bank poverty engagements in Timor-Leste and worked in the Social Protection and Jobs Team in the Philippines and Malaysia.
She was a research partner of the Center for International Forestry Research and also worked at Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations in Rome, and the Indonesia Statistical Office in Jakarta. An Indonesian national, Ririn holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
