Completing my MBA at Universiti Malaya in Feb 2024 was a pivotal milestone in my career journey. The program not only strengthened my business acumen and strategic thinking but also played an instrumental role in advancing my career from Malaysia to Singapore, from U.S.A company to Netherland company, where I currently serve as Regional Product Manager, Southeast Asia at Barentz.

The MBA curriculum offered a comprehensive and practical approach to business management, combining real-world case studies with critical analysis and strategic frameworks. I find the Corporate Strategy and International Business subjects are exceptionally important for regional role. These experiences refined my ability to evaluate markets, lead cross-functional projects, and make data-driven decisions – skills that have been invaluable in managing regional markets and driving business growth.

Beyond academic learning, the global recognition of UM’s MBA certification provided a competitive edge in Singapore’s talent landscape, where education is highly valued. The program’s diverse and collaborative environment also broadened my perspectives and improved my ability to work effectively across cultures.
