Dress Code & Appearance Guidelines

All students are expected to comply with the Universiti Malaya Administrative Directions (Student Dress Code and Appearance) 2024 while attending lectures, examinations, official university functions and other activities on campus.

  • Wear smart, clean and modest attire at all times.
  • Carry and display your student matric card while on campus.
  • Dress appropriately when attending lectures, examinations and official university functions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance that reflects the values of Universiti Malaya.
  • Observe all university regulations related to student conduct and appearance.
Important Notice Students who fail to comply with the University's dress code and appearance guidelines may be denied entry to lectures, examinations, offices or official university events in accordance with the applicable administrative directions.
