The UM Centre of Innovation and Enterprise (UMCIE), Universiti Malaya's Technology Transfer Office, is committed to supporting the UM community in protecting and commercialising research and innovation.

All Universiti Malaya Intellectual Property applications should first be submitted through the UMEXPERT EiPR System for review by UMCIE before any filing is made with MyIPO.
Researchers, staff and students are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the filing process to ensure that their innovations are properly protected and have the best opportunity for future commercialisation.
