Mr Herizal Hazri
Herizal Hazri served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia from September 2020 to December 2022. In this capacity, he directed the Institute and acted as the primary liaison to the Prime Minister of Malaysia on foreign policy matters, providing critical policy advisory support to both federal and state governments. He notably served under two Prime Ministers, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Dato Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
In 2021, ...Herizal was appointed to the Malaysian Government’s Consultative Council on Foreign Policy by the then Foreign Minister, Dato’ Seri Saifuddin Abdullah. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Sheikh Zayed Al-Nahyan Chair at ISIS Malaysia and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy in the UAE, which fosters collaboration between Malaysia and the UAE in policy development.
Prior to his tenure at ISIS, Herizal served as the Country Representative for The Asia Foundation Malaysia from 2009 to 2020, where he led strategic initiatives, developed partnerships, and managed socioeconomic development projects in collaboration with governments and international organizations. He has also been actively involved in regional partnerships with organizations such as APEC, ASEAN, and Google. Currently, he is engaged in consultation work in the Middle East, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise in international affairs.

Tan Sri Mohamed Al Amin Bin Abdul Majid
Tan Sri Mohamed Al Amin Bin Abdul Majid holds a Diploma in Technology from Oxford College of Further Education and also holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Aston, Birmingham, United Kingdom which also conferred him an Honorary Doctorate Degree – Doctor of Science. ... He is also a Corporate Member of Institute of Engineers (IEM), Malaysia and a professional engineer (PE).
Tan Sri Mohamed Al Amin began his career as a Project Engineer in 1979 at Perak State Development Corporation (PSDC) and was later appointed as Executive Director of Maju Bangun Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PSDC. Due to his interest in carrying on similar businesses/trade, he later started his own his own company. Along his career, he had held various positions in a few listed and non-listed companies; namely Executive Chairman of Nylex (M) Berhad (Public Listed Company) and Redberry Sdn Bhd (Media Company); Chairman of MCIS Zurich Insurance Bhd (Insurance), Malay Mail Sdn Bhd (Newspaper), and Nexbis Limited (Public Listed in Australia Stock Exchange – ASX); Director of Ancom Berhad (Public Listed Company); Advisor Tasek Corporation Bhd (Public Listed Company) and Nestcon Bhd (Public Listed Company).
He was the Chairman of Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia from 1999 to 2010 and was elected as Co-Chair of APEC Chemical Dialogue from year 2002- 2010.
Further to that, he was appointed Chairman from 2006 to 2018 of SMIDEC (subsequently changed name to SME Corporation Malaysia), a government agency under Ministry of International Trade and Industry for the development and enhancement of small and medium enterprises in Malaysia.

Secretary/Vice President, Deputy President, EXCO Member and Acting President with Badminton Association Malaysia; Vice President with Badminton Asia Confederation.
Tan Sri Mohamed Al Amin is currently the President of Aston Universiti Alumni Association of Malaysia which he held since 2006.
Badminton World Federation (BWF) had awarded him the Meritorious Service Award in recognition of his 20 years of creditable and meritorious service to the badminton community in Malaysia.
Tan Sri Mohamed Al Amin was the Chef de Mission (CDM) of Malaysia at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where the Malaysian Contingent accomplished the best ever performance and achievement thus far in the Olympics with four silvers and one bronze medal.
Mr. Toh Hock Chai
Since mid-March 2020, Hock Chai has been assisting OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad on a part time basis, as an Advisor, to improve its statistical reporting and data management. He is also the Senior Advisor to Chief Executive Officer of the China Construction Bank (Malaysia) Berhad to improve data management and drive digital transformation since August 2020....
Prior to this, Hock Chai has 33 years of experience in Bank Negara Malaysia, mainly in data management and system (IT) development; economic analysis, surveillance and policy formulation; and foreign exchange administration. He is graduated with Master of Applied Statistics and Bachelor Degree in Economics, both from the University of Malaya. He has also completed 5 modules of the Executive Data Science programme, authorised by John Hopkin’s University, offered through Coursera online.
Experience in Financial Sector
He was the Director of Statistical Services Department in the Bank from 2009 to 2019. He has vast knowledge and experience in data/information management and embracing. IT to improve work efficiency and productivity. During his tenure, the department has automated and digitalised the collection, compilation and dissemination of all core statistics, covering financial, credit, payments, monetary and macro-economic statistics. He played a pivotal role on successful implementation of an end-to-end integrated statistical system, including an Enterprise Data Warehouse, in the Bank. He has also charted the strategy and roadmap for the Bank to embrace Big Data, data science and data analytics, and had successfully delivered a Big Data Analytics Platform and several Data Science and Analytics initiatives.
Prior to this, he has served the Economics Department of the Bank for close to 7 years, involved in economic analysis, surveillance, forecasting, policy formulation and publication. He has in-depth knowledge on foreign exchange administration policies, rules and requirements, having worked in the Foreign Exchange Administration Department for 9 years. He joined the Bank as a public relation executive in late 1986, after more than a year of working with a private company, specialises in exhibition display systems and supplies.
Contributions to Central Banking and Statistical Communities
Hock Chai has been actively playing leadership role and contributing to the central banking and statistical communities at the domestic and international levels. He was one of the Council Members of the Institut Statistik Malaysia (ISM) from 2015 to 2019 and currently an Advisor to ISM. He has initiated the 1st national statistics congress (MyStats), jointly organised by the Bank with Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) in 2012. At the global front, he was the Executive Member of the Irving Fisher Committee on Central Bank Statistics (IFC Committee, which has around 90 central banks as members) of the BIS in Basel during 2015-2017, and as the Vice Chair of the committee in 2018-2019. He is an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and was the Chair of the ISI South East Asia (SEA) Outreach Committee during 2015 to June 2020. He has gained significant knowledge from, worked collaboratively with, and established strong professional network with central bankers around the world, given that IFC Committee has around 90 central banks as institution members. He has played a vital role in leading the successful organisation and hosting of the 62nd ISI World Statistics Congress 2019 in Malaysia, jointly with ISM and Department of Statistics, Malaysia.

He has also attended senior executive and management courses at renowned institutions such as London Business School and Harvard Business School, enhancing his leadership and expertise in the area of finance.
Datuk Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Bin Yusoff
Datuk Nik was the founding board member of the Audit Oversight Board (AOB), which supervises auditors of public interest entities in Malaysia when he was appointed as the Executive Chairman in 2010. In addition to this role, he was also the Executive Director of the Securities Commission Malaysia ...in charge of Market and Corporate Supervision. Before entering the regulatory arena, he was the Executive Chairman of Khairuddin, Hasyudeen & Razi, (KHR) a public accounting practice founded based on a merger in 1998 of three public accounting practices including my own firm which was established in 1992.
He was elected to the Council of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants in 2000 and became the President of MIA from 2007 until 2009, and the Vice-President of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (2008-2009) and a member of the Public Practice Advisory Committee of CPA Australia (2004-2010). Datuk Nik was the Chief Executive Officer of Lembaga Tabung Haji and currently the Independent Director of Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.
