The Bachelor of Economics programme is designed to provide solid grounding in theory and economic knowledge and improve the critical and analytical skills of students. The core and elective courses are shaped to produce graduates with broad based as well as specialized knowledge. The newly introduced specialization system has provided students the option to specialize in one of five (5) areas, namely;

Possess a Diploma in Economics and Administration or other related field from any institutions recognised by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the University’s Senate with at least a CGPA of 3.30;

Obtained at least Grade B+ for Mathematics / Additional Mathematics and Grade B in English Language at the SPM level;
And
Obtained at least Band 4.0 in MUET |
GCE A-Level
Passed the GCE A-Level with at least Grade B in any two (2) of the following subjects:

Obtained at least Band 4.0 in MUET
However, applicants who do not have MUET but have the following results may be considered for conditional offer by fulfilling the MUET requirements within the duration of one (1) academic session:
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
Possess the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a minimum score of 35 points;
and
Obtained at least Grade 5 (Higher Level) at the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma level in Mathematics and two (2) of the following subjects:
and
Obtained at least Band 4.0 in MUET
However, applicants who do not have MUET but have the following results may be considered for conditional offer by fulfilling the MUET requirements within the duration of one (1) academic session:
Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT) Possess the Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT) with a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) rank of 80 percent (%); and Obtained at least a score of 70% at the Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT) level in Mathematics and two (2) of the following subjects:
and Obtained at least Band 4.0 in MUET
However, applicants who do not have MUET but have the following results may be considered for conditional offer by fulfilling the MUET requirements within the duration of one (1) academic session:
Malaysian Sport School
Passed the Malaysian Sports School Pre-University Certificate with at least CGPA 3.30
And
Obtained at least Grade B+ at the level of Malaysian Sport School Pre-University Certificate in two (2) of the following subjects:

Obtained at least Grade B+ for Mathematics and Grade B in English Language at the SPM level;
And
